Arius Enterprise recognized by InsuranceERM as “Cloud Technology Solution of the Year” in the Americas

Milliman’s Arius insurtech solution wins for the second year in a row

SEATTLE – JULY 7, 2021 – Milliman, Inc., a premier global consulting and actuarial firm, is pleased to announce that the firm’s Arius Enterprise® loss reserve analysis system has been recognized as the 2021 InsuranceERM Awards - Americas “Cloud Technology Solution of the Year.” The goal of the awards is to highlight enterprise risk management leaders in the Americas.

This is the second year in a row that Milliman and Arius have been recognized by InsuranceERM with this honor.

Arius Enterprise is a complete end-to-end solution to manage the work of a sophisticated property and casualty actuarial reserving operation. It is a Microsoft Azure cloud-based solution that leverages the strengths and capabilities of cloud computing to assist and support actuarial teams who are reengineering their reserving process. In their award statement, InsuranceERM noted the system’s new Advanced Analytics module provides “a platform on which sophisticated machine learning models can be built, with results incorporated directly into the reserving workflow. These tools take advantage of Azure Machine Learning to create new models using historical data and uncover additional insights for analysis.” The judging panel also praised Arius Enterprise for its unique value proposition and strong case studies.
